She focuses her work and research on the use of interactive technology (mainly whole full-body interaction and physical interfaces) as a means of communication and an experience generator. Holds two MSc degrees, one in Telecommunication Systems Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and another in Information, Communication and Audiovisual Technologies from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and she became a member of the Experimentation on Interactive Communication research group.
She has developed facilities for the Expo of Zaragoza, The Forum of Cultures Barcelona 2004 and several museums (Cosmocaixa, City of Culture, etc).
Has worked with Cuatic, agency dedicated to the design and production of experiences of physical interaction applied to communication, advertising and marketing; at Reactable Systems, where she has served as director and producer; In PingPong: as a consultant in the use of multitouch interactive technologies; She has won prizes such as a Laus Prize, a Golden Lion of Cannes 2010 or a mention in Google DevArt (art made with code).
He graduated in History many years ago and soon became interested in electronic art. He studied electronic music at the Microfusa School and dedicated his creativity to composing music for dance shows for Company Müller, Ruehl, Dèria-Rectificadora and Semolinika amongst others.
From 2005 to 2010 he created Siroco, a socio-cultural association focused in social art, and develops artistic activities for social exclusion risk groups. From 2007 to 2016, he founded and directed the audio-visual production company Perla28 Studio, where he produced video-mappings, animation series, video clips, television advertisements as well as interactive products. The Studio is awarded by Mofilm in 2008, 1st international award for Best Spot and in 2014 1st prize of the Barcelona Music Video Festival.
In 2015-2016 he attended the Master in Professional Coaching at the Gestalt Institute of Barcelona, and is currently active as a professional coach, as well as coaching for companies in the audio-visual sector.
Artist and programmer, focuses her practice on the use of code and electronics along with other non-technological elements, to create different interactive projects, often framed as experimental games that aim to go beyond the game itself.
Either from educational approaches to others of sociological experimentation, her interest is directed to the de- hierarchisation of traditional relations in art – piece, artist, public – to bring art and creation to the public, giving them greater control and participation through the process.
She has participated in different international art festivals like Ars Electronica, FILE Festival or Sónar. She has also been awarded a jury selection at the Japan Media Arts Festival, an experimental game development residence at the TAG Research Center in Montreal, an EMARE artistic residence in Australia and a collaboration at a residence of Friedrich Kirschner for Ars Electronica Futurelab.
Holds a diploma in Communication Sciences from the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona and a degree in Graphic Design from the Universitat International de Catalunya.
In 1995 obtained the Barcelona Prize for grafismo y comunicación municipal. As an art director at Lintas-Lowe & Partners he worked on projects for Chocolates Nestlé, Bayer, Frudesa and JVC.
In 1999 he founded the communication agency ThePericas with clients such as Montblanc, Accor, Novotel, Ibis Hotels, Caprabo, Grupo Planeta, Nessun Dorma Holding, Rubió Laboratories, Julia Perfumerías, Metropolis [World Association of The Major Metropolises], CGLU [United Cities and Local Governments] or Chupa Chups. Between 2002 and 2012 he was responsible for the Montblanc worldwide advertisements and created the branding of Formatges Montbrú, winner of the World Cheese Award in 2015. In the last 5 years he has specialized in branding and UX Design, developing projects for the Intercom Group and for SMEs from different sectors.
